Hospital Association of South Africa

The Hospital Association of South Africa (HASA) is a non-profit organization governed by a board of directors. At its offices in Sandton, South Africa, it employs a small complement of full-time staff, among them a CEO, Executive Officer: Service Delivery and HR, and three secretaries.

HASA recently underwent a restructuring exercise to ensure that they would be in a position to continue adding value to the South African healthcare industry, especially as South Africa move towards a National Health Insurance scheme.

The purpose of HASA is to guide the private hospital industry in expanding access to healthcare and preserving the quality of healthcare services.
