Please introduce yourself and your role.
“I am Harshit Jain, Founder and Global CEO of Doceree, the first global network of physician-only platforms for programmatic marketing. With Doceree, I am striving to reduce the rising healthcare cost by introducing efficient and effective pharma marketing solutions, using data and creativity. Building and working with a team of experts, I have been able to position my venture as a leader in the programmatic healthcare marketing space, globally, securing accolades like Digiday Most Innovative Technology Platform 2023, NJBiz Best Place to Work 2023, MM+M Best Places to Work 2022, Great Place to Work (India) 2023 and PM360 Trailblazer Award in the ‘Point of Care’ category. For my work at Doceree, I have been recognized as the Elite 2020 Disrupter by premier global PM360 Magazine, MM+M Pinnacle Awardee 2021, and Marketer of the Year (jury choice) by The Drum 2022.
“Prior to founding Doceree, I had the chance to work with leading advertising agencies, including McCann where I held a series of positions including Country Head, Marketing Director & Innovation Lead in Asia, Europe and America and won massive global recognition for my work on Immunisation, Vitamin D deficiency, Diabetes, by using data creatively and innovatively. I also played a key role in making India win the first ever Black Pencil – the highest honour at D&AD Awards through the Immunity Charm campaign, my brainchild. Also, won Cannes Lion Grand Prix for Good 2017 for the campaign.
“Besides being an entrepreneur and a marketer, I also recently downed the hat of an author (my latest book being The Next Marketing-To Healthcare Professionals) and host of a marketing podcast called The Next Marketing with HJ.”
What led you to this industry?
“Being from a family of HCPs, I had always aspired to be one. I received a medical degree and practised for some time. However, I was intrigued to explore the creative side of healthcare, which pushed me to try my hands in healthcare advertising. During my tenure at an ad agency, I observed a deficiency in the way pharmaceutical companies advertised their Rx drug to physicians. This motivated me to put forth endless effort to create a bridge between them, which resulted in the creation of Doceree.”
What is Doceree?
“Doceree is a global platform building unprecedented solutions for healthcare professional (HCP) programmatic messaging with proprietary data tools.
It facilitates messaging between life sciences brands and HCPs through an extensive global network of digital endemic and point-of-care platforms to programmatically deliver personalised communications to HCPs and transparent marketing campaign metrics at scale. Through this platform, HCP marketers gain access to resources like solutions, data tools and transparent marketing campaigns with results.

How does this help healthcare companies?
“With the rise of digital transformation, top pharma companies are increasingly investing in digital methods of marketing and generating tonnes of data. This data helps in data-driven decision-making, which further helps in generating marketing strategies and tactics, resulting in more targeted and effective campaigns being set up. Powered by EspyianTM, a proprietary HCP validation engine, Doceree acts a reliable mediator between HCPs and pharma marketers, by enabling best use of this data.

Tell us about your expansion plan. What do the next 12 months hold for you and the company?
“Today, Doceree is a proud global solution provider that enjoys the largest market share in the industry. In the year 2023, the company onboarded 13 new pharma brands and expanded presence to deliver programmatic campaigns in 22 countries. It also entered an exclusive partnership with Hello Health Group to expand operations in Southeast Asia region, and are striving towards expanding significantly across the globe in the next two years, through strategic mergers and alliances.
“The company has recently raised US$35m Series B funding. Being a profitable business across markets, Doceree has grown more than 100% in the last one year with monthly revenue rising five folds between the Series A funding in April 2022.
“Additionally, Doceree plans to expand its product portfolio significantly, with five innovative and connected solutions scheduled for launch in 2024. This shall further strengthen Doceree’s global positioning as the leader in Programmatic Pharma Marketing space and the global healthcare ecosystem as the solutions will make HCP targeting easier than ever before, enhancing communications at many HCP touchpoints in doctors' professional and clinical lives.”
