Optimising the medicine journey and patient experience

Behind every new treatment lies a complex path. Sanofi focuses on generating scalable impact across the entire medicine lifecycle, integrating AI from drug discovery and clinical trials to manufacturing, supply forecasting and patient support. 

This creates a cohesive ecosystem where scientific progress translates rapidly into operational execution.

At VivaTech, an immersive Patient Experience Tunnel allowed visitors to explore the treatment journey of someone with Atopic Dermatitis. 

This experience shows how digital patient support, scientific discoveries and AI tools enhance care. 

Key solutions include the AI Literature Review tool, which delivers over 95% accuracy while significantly cutting down evaluation times to turn insights into actions. The integrated IMMS ecosystem connects Sanofi directly with healthcare professionals and patients undergoing immunology treatments.

The eStudy platform transforms trial design by using multimodal data to simulate trials, predict cycle times, optimise patient burdens and identify cost drivers for efficient protocols. 

Furthermore, FUSION – a Model-Informed Drug Development platform – enables in-silico trials using disease biology models and clinical data to forecast safety, efficacy and outcomes for crucial Go/No-Go decisions. Once clinical data is available, ClinShow uses AI-enhanced review to validate findings efficiently.

To ensure breakthrough science reaches patients reliably, the Manufacturing & Supply teams integrate expert AI and agents into daily work. On the shopfloor, BEAM streamlines transferring new drugs or indications from R&D to industrial scale for unprecedented launch speeds, whilst Plasma reinforces equipment reliability, continuity and production quality.
