Outcome Health, the world’s largest platform for actionable health intelligence, has announced the appointment of Nandini Ramani as its new Chief Engineering Officer.

“Healthcare is an industry close to my heart and Outcome Health’s impact on society is tangible and meaningful,” Ramani said, clearly enthused by the opportunity.

“In addition to Outcome Health’s commitment to its mission, the addressable market and track record of growth are remarkable.

“Building a platform that can deliver better decision making, clinical workflow and health outcomes is a rare opportunity, especially at this scale.”

Having previously led the Java business unit for Oracle and acted as the Vice President of Engineering for Twitter, Ramani was previously ranked as one of the world’s most powerful female engineers of 2017 by Business Insider.

“We are honoured to welcome Nandini to our executive team and thrilled to have her lead the realisation of our product roadmap in our journey to transform the healthcare experience,” said Shradha Agarwal, President of Outcome Health.

“Excellence in engineering is foundational to our ability to scale across consultation rooms around the world as we further our mission of activating better health decisions to improve patient outcomes.”

Ramani’s appointment comes in the wake of the company’s $500mn funding round in May, taking its overall valuation to roughly $5bn.

Investors in this funding round include Goldman Sachs Investment Partners, CapitalG, Leerink Transformation Partners, Pritzker Group Venture Capital and Balyansy Management.
