HealthPlix’s EMR offline capability to help doctors in India

Healthcare in India
Revolutionary healthcare digitisation at HealthPlix is empowering doctors across India, with its offline EMR for seamless medical practice

Indian Electronic Medical Record (EMR) platform HealthPlix has announced the opening of its Offline EMR. Meaning the HealthPlix EMR will be available all day, every day, for doctors across India.

HealthPlix EMR's dual capabilities for online and offline healthcare data sync

HealthPlix is a start-up based in Bangalore, India, and was founded in 2014. For almost a decade, it has pioneered digitisation in healthcare with its AI-powered EMR platform used by doctors across India. So far, 22m patients have been supported by HealthPlix EMR platform, in more than 370 Indian cities.

The new HealthPlix EMR offers online and offline capabilities, so that doctors can work wherever they are and sync healthcare data to the cloud, with an automated sync making sure that data doesn’t get lost. This connectivity will help doctors see up to 10% more patients every day. Other advantages include:

  • Sync patient health records within five minutes; meaning that there is no loss of information
  • Automatically switches between Offline and Online
  • The new version is 48% faster

Revolutionising healthcare accessibility and empowering healthcare professionals

"The launch of offline EMR signifies a giant leap towards our commitment to remove all the barriers to EMR adoption,” said Chaitanya Raju, Executive Director, HealthPlix. “In the next 6-12 months, you will see more such innovative products that help doctors enhance their practice. We have doubled our product and engineering team to be able to deliver at a great speed."

“The new version of EMR rolled out has all key capabilities that allow me to holistically digitise my clinic practice. Particularly, the offline EMR comes with zero loss of patient health information amid internet fluctuations in the clinic” said Aditya Aggarwal of HCM Healthcare. “This uninterrupted flow of patient care from the very moment of prescription helps me consult more patients. Additionally, when internet access is available, the EMR system automatically syncs patient health records, ensuring that all data is up to date and accessible."
