GE Healthcare has signed a global agreement with Core Sound Imaging, Inc  to distribute Studycast, a cloud-based ultrasound PACS and reporting solution. Core Sound Imaging is a leading provider of web-based picture archiving communications systems solutions. 

Through this agreement, GE’s ultrasound business will act as a distributor of Studycast to GE ultrasound customers. The innovative Studycast offers a powerful image storage, reporting and workflow solution for ultrasound, nuclear medicine and other diagnostic systems. 

Roland Rott, General Manager for GE Healthcare Ultrasound IT said, “As a leader in  ultrasound reporting and image management in the healthcare industry, our customers have looked to GE Healthcare to provide them with a versatile solution that takes advantage of current and developing technologies.” Mr. Rott also said, “ Now, along with Core Sound Imaging, we have extended our IT product portfolio for ultrasound labs with an innovative web based solution, allowing our customers to select the  technology which best fits their workflow, reporting, archiving and budget requirements.”

Studycast is a software-as-a-service model . It provides innovative solution  for accessing medical images and SmartWorksheet report for physicians through a web browser. 

GE Healthcare is a division of GE Technology Infrastructure, which is a division of General Electric.  Core Sound Imaging, Inc is being recognized as the reliable solution for digital imaging and diagnostic testing workflow solutions.
