Plan for the unexpected - Innovative solutions for hybrid operating rooms

 For Erik Fosse planning a concert and planning the construction of an intervention center have more in common than you might think. When he and the team at the Intervention Centre of Oslo University Hospital started planning their new hybrid operating room, they created drawings of every different operation. They carefully outlined where everyone would stand in the room and where the instruments and imaging should be placed. In the end they succeeded planning a multimodality hybrid operating room set up to perform minimally invasive surgery across different clinical procedures.
